But, if you want to start preparations on your own... gather & remove: keep-sakes, family photos, private paperwork, sensitive electronic media & properly discard only: spoiled foods, prescriptions, bad batteries, used packing materials, damaged, worn-out, or soiled clothing & fouled furniture, especially from the late 70's or newer. Please Don't Throw Away Other Stuff without first getting advice... Rare Items, maybe even those broken or in poor condition, can have surprising appeal & value. Collectors, Artisans, Crafters, Decorators, Dealers and Do-it-Yourself-ers purchase items which may at-a-glance appear un-sellable.
